99 reg Norton F1 an original rotary super-bike

" The best F1 I have ever ridden" Richard Negus of Norton Motors.            Only 134 of these bikes were built, and this is the 99th.Manufactured in October 1990, 13,100mls recorded, regularly serviced by Norton Motors Ltd, totally immaculate. Manufactured 1990 Registered to the first owner in 1999, then to the present owner in April 2006. Full history includes these expensive improvements to bring this bike to the peak of perfection.

1 Pace Products curved twin core aluminium alloy radiator.

 2 W.P.suspension serviced and improved by Mark Hammond of M H Racing. He also converted the rear suspension to a conventional lock ring ride height adjustment. Richard Negus commented this was the best handling F1 he had ridden.

3 Full race Yamaha OWO1 close ratio six speed gearbox--the work completed by Norton Motors Ltd.

 4 Fitted with Norton Motors own digital ignition--replacing the often problematic O.E ignition system. A significant improvement.

5, Full engine overhaul by Norton Motors in Oct 06 including Moly Coating. 1000mls completed since.

6 Datatool S4 Cat 1 alarm fitted new April  06

.7 Re-painted by Dream Machine.

 8 Personal reg no H16NOR.

9 Approved mods to move the battery to under the seat , and the fuel pump closer to the engine. New Gel battery fitted Dec 07.

10 Handlebar raised 20mm on CNC'd risers .

 11 Two owners from new .Taxed and tested to May 09

12 Folder of workshop and service Manuals, sales literature, and bills included.

1921 Omega 2¾  Belt drive 2 speed hand gear change. OE Villiers 269cc Mk2 This very British Marque is very rarely available on the open market, perhaps one becomes available each decade, . This bike is relatively untouched since it was built, has not run for many years. The last owner reported it as having run satisfactorily when last tried. . .Immaculate. Kept absolutely pristine by previous owner who is a leading member of the Mille Club. c58 Isomoto 125 twin piston. Can any Iso fans tell us more about this, for example --is it the only one in the UK? The previous Italian owner started a restoration, did not get very far , and then slapped it back together very badly , just to make it look complete . A new carb is included in the price. Obviously not a job for the feint hearted, but what a rare and wonderful bike in prospect. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder £1265 sn2644

 

c61 Agrati Como 50 3 speed . In use up to 1988, dry stored since. Original tools still under the seat . For the scooter collector who thought he had one of everything sn2643 .Including UK registration £1335.
